    General Domestic Assistant

    Permanent, part time position working 25 hours per week, term time only for 38 weeks per year



    Salary: Grade 2 (SCP 3) £22,737 per annum pro rata

    Actual salary: £12,931.27 per annum



    John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic General Domestic Assistant to join our evolving organisation.



    The successful candidate will support the school by ensuring that staff workspaces are kept clean, tidy and well stocked. You will be expected to support with the supervision of students during social time and ensure that key areas of the school are kept tidy, particularly following break and lunchtime. We expect excellent communication between the successful candidate, staff and students. All staff are expected to work alongside the teaching staff to be role models for our students, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect.     John Taylor Free School opened in 2018 and we are now approaching capacity with Year 7-12 and Year 13 starting in September 2024. Our first Ofsted rating is 'Good' alongside a strong set of first GCSE results with above national figures in all benchmark areas.
