MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected Manufacturing company based in Middlesbrough.

MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a position as a Factory Labourer / Machine Operative.

Please be aware for this job role you need to have relevant experience.


The Role

  • Working in a fast paced environment
  • Responsible for doing weld preparation work
  • Safely operating machinery
  • Cutting, burning and grinding materials
  • Safely using a variety of hand tools and equipment to manufacture products
  • Using machinery in accordance with Health and Safety
  • Adhering to manual handling protocols at all times

The Person

  • Flexible to work over time if required
  • Proactive and work by their own initiative
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience in a fabricating environment or engineers shop would be beneficial
  • Experience using hand tools is essential
  • Comfortable with manual handling

The Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am 4:30pm
  • Friday: 6.00am 2.00pm (also may be normal 7am)

The Pay

  • Days: £9.50 per hour
  • Backs: £10 per hour (if applicable)
