The Opportunity
Software engineers at Airtime Rewards are dedicated to their field. Working primarily on our Mobile App or integrating into our Partner Mobile App's, you will have the opportunity to work on a product that is readily available in the App store and on Google Play to over 3 million existing users.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience using React and/or React Native that will work in an Agile team to provide technical assistance, and project delivery of product solutions using Mobile Application Development, by adopting our Engineering best practices. Someone that will be passionate about building a Product, and working with Backend engineers to deliver the workload sprints. Primarily focused on the Mobile App, and some Web App, the position will assist in refinement of all aspects of product development with a stronger focus on Frontend. You will be responsible for individual contribution to delivering well refined stories in sprints. Working alongside Senior and Lead Engineers, you will play an important role in writing code that will be used by our members across one or more of our mobile platforms.
Engineering is both a discipline and a mindset. With the use of React and React Native, the ideal candidate will be able to come in and help us apply best industry practices in development, learn our architecture, follow our coding standards, and be willing to adopt a TDD mindset.
This role would be suitable for someone that enjoys software development, will get involved in product discussions, and wants to become an accomplished engineer. Whether you want to progress to senior, or continue to deliver excellent software, you will be willing to learn and follow best practices.
Requirements
A passion for the industry, and someone that is happy to keep up to date with an ever changing digital age, that is excited about working for a FinTech company, wants to learn the importance of Secure Coding, Coding Standards, and PCI-DSS Level 1.
