    Join our dynamic and thriving manufacturing team in South Woodham Ferrers as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter Our client, a leading manufacturer of high precision mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies, is seeking a skilled individual to keep up with their recent growth and increase in orders.


    Responsibilities and duties:
    Utilise various measuring equipment to ensure all parts meet customer standards.
    Programme and set lathes efficiently while meeting customer requirements.
    Review older production parts to optimise machining processes.
    Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
    Complete work according to the production plan

    The ideal candidate:
    Has at least 3 years of programming experience.
    Is experienced in using multi-axis live tooling.
    Can set various lathes.
    Is capable of carrying out first off, self-inspection, and final inspection.
    Has experience in machining a wide range of materials.
    Works well in a team and communicates effectively.
    Has extensive knowledge of Fanuc programming, including live tooling

    Desirable skills include:
    Cam programming knowledge.
    Experience in twin spindle machining.
    Background in aerospace.
    Apprentice trained.
