    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Women's Health reproductive medicine unit to join our team based in out- patients.

    The successful candidate will have a significant interest in reproductive medicine.

    The post-holder will be encouraged to develop under the guidance of current CNS and medical teams.

    Your professional knowledge acquired at degree level will be supplemented by specialist training, experience and short courses to Masters level equivalent.

    Delivering effective patient focused care.
    Proven experience in working within reproductive medicine
    Previous experience of student supervision and clinical education at undergraduate level

    Proven listening / counselling skills with the ability to manage complex situation and appropriately deliver sensitive and difficult outcomes.

    Sound knowledge of current issues in the profession and practice of nursing.
    Able to use skills of history taking and physical assessment to direct patient care.
    Ability to conduct & evaluate own projects successfully.
    Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats.
    Demonstrates understanding of good practice in customer care
    Demonstrates evidence of professional development in line with KSF, maintains updated Portfolio
    Evidence of developing & leading nurse led clinics / services
    Health, safety and security
    Monitors and maintains health, safety and security of self and others
    Promotes, monitors and maintains best practice in health, safety and security

    Service Improvement & Quality
    Understanding of relevant national strategy / policy and how this relates to the service
    Demonstrates understanding of principles of Clinical Governace, e.g. risk management, audit
    Commitment to quality initiatives, e.g. Nursing & Midwifery strategy, Trust top 10 objectives
    Experience of developing standards, guidelines and policies
    Equality and Diversity & Promotion of Health
    Demonstrates understanding of relevant national strategy /policy and how this relates to the service

    Assessment and treatment planning, Provision of care to meet health and wellbeing needs
