Project Manager - Derivative Operations

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a
Project Manager to join a bank in London focussing on a the development of a
Derivative Operations Project within their Banking Operations and Programme Management function.

This bank is aiming to align its numerous ongoing projects across various departments, centralising all through a change and projects function.

The Project Manager will act as a lead for the design, development, and project delivery throughout the implementation;this greenfield initiative requires consistent development, an awareness of the potential and actual risks posed to the project delivery and business, and individuals to demonstrate the propensity to enact change across regional international jurisdictions.

The position holder will need to drive forward agendas, adhering to internal and external standards; therefore, it would be beneficial for applicants to demonstrate experience delivering large-scale transformation and/or regulatory projects, within a bankingenvironment.

Effective team management skills are beneficial, since this role involves a mixture of conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, leading junior members of the team, coaching, and providing ad hoc training of junior members of staff.

Overall, this contract role offers the opportunity to join an established organisation at the launch of a new programme, ultimately shaping firm-wide policy and direction within a dynamic project-focussed and team environment.
