Description

We require a Project Coordinator to join an established global leader in eliminating explosive and hazardous material threats and security risks all over the world with offices based in Ross on Wye.

Benefits will include hybrid working (2 days at home) and annual bonus


This is a full-time permanent role working Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm and 8am-3pm on Fridays, offering a salary of £27,644 per annum.


As Project Coordinator, you will report into the Project Operations Manager working within a project team of 4 people, providing daily support and coordination for the implementation of international projects through the entire project life cycle, from bid development, mobilisation, operations, and demobilisation.

Typical duties will include putting together budgets and project costs, liaising with logistics and finance regularly, mobilising individuals, weekly and monthly reports, and maintaining communications throughout project work, as well as the following:
Conduct the operational costing preparation of prospective projects during the bid phase and provide support to the commercial team for other bid documentation
Update the operations database and other key centralised documents with award of contract information for new projects
Prepare and manage contractor personnel mobilisations and briefings to projects, including the coordination of all travel, visas and work permits prior to international deployment
Create, maintain and archive project files
Regularly monitor project expenditure against project budget and coordinate the project monthly field funds requests and cash movement
Ensure the Project Operations Manager is appraised of all up-to-date project information and provide support and coordination to daily project activities
Maintain frequent communications with the deployed field personnel
Maintain the operations database for contractor mobilisations, purchase requests, soles orders and logging of key project communications
Assist with the final review of field reports ahead of submission for approval to the respective Operations Manager
Conduct timely and accurate month end administration for each project, including project contractor payroll, raising of sales orders, updating project statistics and ensure monthly logistic returns are received from the field,
Out of hours phone duty cover as per team rota We would be really keen to hear from applicants with the following experience

A graduate with the desire to grow within the role, or someone with previous project work experience
Strong MS Office experience
The ability to work flexibly and able to reprioritise workload at very short notice
Ability to juggle multiple projects at different project stages
An analytical mindset
Highly organised
The ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, managing your style of delivery
Can work well within a highly pressurised environment
Someone with an understanding of international current affairs would be advantageous
