- Educated to A Level standard
- AAT Qualificiation (desirable)
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years accounts experience in a similar role
- Bookkeeping experience is essential
- IT skills: Xero accounting is ideal
- Strong Excel
- Supporting the month end process including tbe preparation and posting of month end journals to Xero
- The opportunity to become involved in the preparation of the management accounts
- Supporting the credit control team
- Support internal payroll processes
- Dealing with accounts queries etc.

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of our St Albans based accountancy client.
This role will ideally suit a part qualified accountant or an individual with at least 2-3 years experience working within a busy accounts department and looking to develop their accounts skills further, within a professional accountancy practice.
Essential Requirements:
Duties will include the following:
Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week with flexi hours
Salary: Up to £36,000 pa depending on experience + Benefits Pension, Life Assurance
