    £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, plus comprehensive package

    We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Highways Works Manager to join our team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of highway construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to achieve project objectives.
    • Lead and motivate a team of engineers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure optimal performance and project success.
    • Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
    • Act as the main point of contact for client communication, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standards in construction and project delivery.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
    • Manage project budgets effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating financial risks.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.

    Health and Safety Compliance:
    Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies on all construction sites.
    Implement safety initiatives and conduct regular safety audits.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    Proven experience in highways construction project management.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
