- Conduct NDT Testing: Utilize various NDT methods, including but not limited to ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and liquid penetrant testing (PT), to inspect welds, materials, and components.
- Interpret and Analyze Results: Evaluate test results and provide detailed reports on findings. Identify defects, anomalies, and areas of concern, and make recommendations for corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that all NDT processes adhere to industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. Maintain records and documentation of all testing activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers, welding teams, and other stakeholders to ensure NDT is carried out at the appropriate stages of construction. Communicate findings and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure NDT equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working condition. Report any equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or repairs as necessary.
- Safety: Prioritize safety in all aspects of the job. Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in NDT techniques. Seek opportunities for professional development and certification.
- Relevant NDT certification - PCN in DPI - Dye penetrants, Fluorescent Penetrants, NDT Instruction writing
- Experience with various NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.).
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
