Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianPermanent/Full-Time
Our client is a well-established company specialising in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Their purpose-built workshop houses a dedicated team of professionals who work on a variety of vehicles, including Mercedes Sprinters, VW Crafters, and VW Transporters.
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team.As a key member of the maintenance crew, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of their fleet.
Perform vehicle servicing according to company policies.Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs, adhering to both company and DVSA standards.
Prepare and present vehicles for MOTs.
Maintain a tidy workshop and organise tools and equipment.
Conduct road testing to identify defects or verify successful repairs.
Adhere to Health and Safety policies and safe working practices
Experience and Qualities:
NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of industry experience in both mechanical and electrical systems.
Welding experience (Desirable but not essential).
Hold a DVLA issued driving licence for Cat B manual vehicles.
Full-time position hours per week, including breaks).
Overtime available during busy periods.
