About Us

We have a vacancy in our Housing Assessment Team and are looking for a capable and ambitious individual to join Richmond and Wandsworth Council's Shared Staffing Arrangement.

You will be a team player, articulate and organised and able to work under pressure to deliver a first class housing assessment service.


Whilst previous experience of working in a housing assessment or other busy front-line public-sector role would be advantageous, it is not essential.


To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Be emotionally mature and confident to work with people facing difficult housing circumstances;
  • Be organised in your work and able to keep on top of changing priorities;
  • Be able to discuss complex cases with other professionals and explain rehousing prospects.
  • Be able to write case notes and assessments of a high standard.
  • Be a motivated and engaged team player
