    Description

    Are you an experienced Avionics Engineer looking for your next opportunity to support solutions within the Aerospace and Defence sector? If so, the following permanent role may be right for you...As a mobile Avionics Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary helping us to support our customers' requirements.

    The successful candidate will support customer requirements by carrying out and supervising aircraft engineering tasks on company aircraft/equipment in support of the Light Aircraft Flying Training Task.

    Providing a signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.

    Supervising engineering and Flight Line activity on Company aircraft and associated equipment in conformity with authorised schedules, technical publications and instructions ensuring highest standards of maintenance are maintained.

    Carrying out scheduled and corrective maintenance of the Aircraft fleet to ensure airworthiness is maintained to meet customer requirements on a daily basis.

    This is full time role, and can be based at one of the LAFT sites, namely:
    Plus disturbance allowance and full T&S costs paid for nights away from base location

    Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
