    Apprentice Horticulture or Landscape Construction Operative ANDREW M SYDENHAM
    Sydenham's Gardens and Landscapes have an exciting opportunity for a Horticulture Apprenticeship.

    The successful candidate will join the landscape gardeners team to start their career in horticulture by undertaking a range of duties including maintenance of residential and commercial gardens.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:00pm30 hours per week
    Level 2 (GCSE)
    Garden maintenance to include tasks such as:
    The training you will be getting
    You will be working towards a Horticulture & Landscape Operative Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 which includes:
    Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
    Level 2 Award in Safe Use of Pesticides
    Level 2 Award in the Safe Application of Pesticide Using Hand Held Equipment.

    Functional skills level 2 in English and maths is also required for applicants with less than a grade 4/C.

    Training will be provided by Bicton College.
    You will receive on and off the job training and support from an assessor and your employer.

    The apprenticeship training will begin at college from September 2024, however we will be looking to the applicant to working with us during April 2024.

    Whether it is garden maintenance or hard and soft landscaping, we can do it all.

    With attention to detail and expert knowledge on planting and horticulture, we take great pride in our work no matter how big or small the job is.
