    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain Postfix mail servers on Linux systems.
    • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system optimizations to ensure reliable email delivery.
    • Implement and manage email security measures, including anti-spam, anti-virus, and authentication mechanisms.
    • Configure and manage email accounts, aliases, mailing lists, and distribution groups.
    • Set up and maintain email backups and disaster recovery plans.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate email systems with other infrastructure components, such as LDAP directories, DNS, and firewalls.
    • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve email-related issues in a timely manner.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and security vulnerabilities related to email systems.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Linux System Administration Postfix Configuration and Administration.
    • Email Security and Anti-Spam Techniques.
    • Networking and TCP/IP Fundamentals.
    • Scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for Automation.
    • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting.
