Description
**The Opportunity:- **My client is currently recruiting for an interim Social Care Category Manager to deliver strategic and hands-on procurement activities across the Adults, Childrens and Public Health spend areas. The contract is anticipated to be initially for up to 6 monthsand attracts a rate of £500 - £550 per day (inside IR35)
Working for a London based client, the expectation is a mix of home working (3 days) / office (2 days).
- Procurement / sourcing / category management experience gained from within a Local Authority / Council environment is desirable
- Knowledge of the social care category spend areas (Adults, Childrens or Public Health)
- Experience of contracting utilising the Public Sector procurement rules PCR 2015 / OJEU
- Great stakeholder relationship engagement skills / business partnering approach
