- Determine resource requirements (e.g. linguist, budget, timing) and optimal cost structure based on language project objectives and operational needsn
- Ensure management of client expectations, keeping all stakeholders informed of the progress of projects and resolving or escalating any challenges efficientlyn
- Suggest creative ways to adapt our project management processes to tailor them to the client in order support successful deliveryn
- Effectively and efficiently scope project requirements, running and communicating risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategiesn
- Managing and developing processes for scope changes / change requests, ensuring everything is well documented and escalated to relevant stakeholdersn
- Define responsibilities, set direction and allocate tasks within the project teamn
- Develop and evolve project management tools and processes as necessary, assuming responsibility for developing the approach and educating and promoting the use of the process/methodology to your colleagues.n
- Hold responsibility for the quality of the project deliverables and communicationsn
- Ensure PM best practice by checking accuracy and quality of all PM documentation and communication within your account team.n
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the clients and their creative, media agency and production teamsn
- Develop trusted partnerships with clients, colleagues and suppliers by sharing expertise and supportn
- Be adaptable to changes and willing to adjust to new responsibilities dependent upon the client's needs
- Partner with Account Management to oversee financial wellbeing of live projects, reporting updates and providing feedback to the teamn
- Manage project budget, ensuring it is delivered in line with target margin and seeking to maximise revenue through efficient project delivery (profit margin)n
- Oversee the tracking and management of account forecasts; escalating any concerns and making plans to manage spikes of workn
- Contribute to business development efforts through project scoping, estimating and attending sales calls when required
- Manage project team deliverables and provide day to day leadership on your projects and/or delivery area, managing multiple workstreams and colleaguesn
- Guide project teams, demonstrating leadership skills in addressing delivery and performance challenges and undertake tasks to build team moralen
- Ensure team collaboration & foster a positive environmentn
- Take the lead in running wash-up meetings, making sure to assign task responsibilities, set deadlines and ensure actions are implemented in a timely mannern
- Provide timely feedback and mentoring to team members throughout the projectn
- Mentor and support more junior PMs within your team and shoulder responsibilityn
- Support more junior team members in managing their projects and role model Freedman's principles, methods and toolsn
- Champion the importance of teamwork and motivate others around youn
- Cultivate an environment of freely sharing ideas and industry trends to colleagues through day-to-day communication and interactionn
- Assist with the coaching and development of Project Executivesn
