As a Barclays Cash and Liquidity Specialist within the Private Bank UK (UK Domestic, UK International, Wealth), ASIA and BIB based teams, you will work to win, retain and optimise balance sheet deposits.

This is an opportunity to be accountable for the delivery of specialist consultative advice and the provision of Cash Management, on-balance sheet Transactional & Liquidity solutions to our personal and non-personal client base.

You will also focus on both gaining new business and on increasing wallet share from existing clients.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintaining accurate pipeline/win/loss data set to be included in weekly MI
  • Preparing bespoke pricing Deal Forum and discretion cases, supporting with sanction expiry management and providing bankers with bespoke pricing letters
  • Supporting book reviews to proactively build pipeline, anticipate upcoming maturities and to optimise margin
  • Being the first point of contact for Banking, bringing in the Product and Portfolio Teams as required for specific queries
  • Working proactively with bankers and using Salesforce/other data sources to identify pipeline deals and opportunities
  • Supporting the review and remediation of 'back book' bespoke pricing in the book
  • Helping bankers/Private Banking Executives with adhoc Banking queries
  • Leading Adhoc data analysis to support activity and Perform analysis to identify opportunities for incremental balances and margin optimisation, and to drive activity

What we're looking for:


  • Being results and commercially oriented with a clear view of the right balance between all aspects of the balanced scorecard i.e. clients, colleagues, conduct, company and citizenship
  • The ability to manage relationships within and across a complex matrix organisation
  • Excellent analytical skills with a very good knowledge of Excel
  • A broad knowledge of Banking and Banking products/solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Cash & liquidity management sales experience preferably with some exposure to dealing with clients
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to extract, manipulate and interrogate data to identify opportunities
  • In depth knowledge of balance sheet products, a technical knowledge of pricing and worth of funds and familiarity with both operational and client servicing environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to construct, present and deliver technical and product information to clients and further audience

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.

With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
