- Provide a technical interface with external and internal stakeholders through out the different phases of projects.
- Highlight any health and safety shortfalls with the relevant parties.
- Develop and undertake specific inspections of buildings, structures and systems to determine the adequacy of state against relevant good practise.
- Ensure the preparation of all design calculations, detail drawings, reports and specifications are in accordance with the clients requirements and national standards.
- Implement the relevant Project Quality Plans.
- Monitor the activities of Technicians and drafting staff.
- Attend any relevant Design, Client and Site meetings when required.
- BEng / MEng Degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience within a reputable Civil Engineering organisation.
- Previous experience working on projects including: residential / leisure / commercial etc.
- Experience with SEPA would be beneficial
- Commercial awareness / experience working with clients directly
- Previous experience of Civil Engineer software such as Civils 3D.
- Previous experience of producing drainage strategies and flood risk statement reports in support of planning.
