We are looking for a KS3 Science Teacher to progress in our schools in and across Manchester

You will need to be:

Passionate and committed about contributing to the social, emotional, and academic development of every young person.

Supportive and have an encouraging attitude, to inspire trust and motivate students.

Able to use your initiative to find creative ways to support and meet the needs of the students, adapting your approach depending on each individual communication and learning needs.

Must have a PGCE

The Role:

You will lead the teaching of Science to groups of 5 children, supporting pupils to overcome their barriers to learning and help them to make accelerated progress.

Support the behaviour management of the classroom, following the schools behaviour management policy.

Follow school's safeguarding policies, ensuring any safeguarding concerns are reported using the school's referral procedures.

You will deliver a pre planned curriculm - with the opportunity to adapt and differentiate to your own style

You will be able to think of creative ways to move learning forward

You will be confident in leading science experiments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
