  • .A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Educational Technologist to join us and work within the Faculty of Education at LSTM.

Background


This role sits within the Academic Development & Innovation Team (ADI), part of the Faculty of Education, supporting the successful delivery of Learning, Teaching & Assessment (LTA) through the use of educational technologies.

Working closely with the Senior Educational Technologist (Systems & Support Manager) to ensure that services are delivered effectively, and high-quality support is provided to both student and staff, enabling them to make the best use of these technologies.

Key responsibilities are (but not limited to):

  • To provide specialist 1st line support to staff and students
  • To provide operational and administrative support for institutional educational technologies
  • To provide staff and students with high quality training and development opportunities.
  • An understanding of the role of educational technologies in supporting learning, teaching and assessment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and documenting issues, through to a satisfactory resolution to the enduser(s)
  • Experience of providing end user support and advice in the use of educational technologies
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver outputs consistent with expected standards in terms of productivity and quality
