A widely respected Insurance Company have an exciting opening for a Claims Team Manager within their Financial Lines division.

You will be responsible for managing a team of experienced Senior Claims Adjusters who handle Professional & Financial linesclaims, including PI, D&O, Financial Institutions and Transactional Liability/W&I matters.

As the client evolve their claims propositions both internally and externally this role will be key to the successful operation of the claims handling function.

Capable of coaching and developing people's careers to ensure that they can deliver to the limit of their abilities.

Excellent communication skills ensuring that all team members understand the vision of the company and how their role will contribute to long term success.

A track record of objectively assessing performance, identifying opportunities and successfully delivering tailored performance improvement strategies.
Ability to leverage data to ensure that decisions are being made using accurate and relevant information.

Other responsibilities will include managing and reviewing Claims Handling Agreements with MGAs on both delegated and non-delegated authority business, working with internal stakeholders including underwriting, operations and claim to achieve suitable terms.

You will attend claims review meetings and oversee relationships with their MGAs, identifying any matters that may require further exploration from a financial, coverage or regulatory exposure perspective.

Applicants should have a good technical knowledge of Financial Lines claims and will ideally have prior claims management exposure.
