    Description

    Our client, a leading Lloyd's Broker are looking for someone with experience in the Natural Resources claims arena, ideally with emphasis in dealing with Power claims, to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

    The role will involve working on accounts with global exposure placed into the London market, requiring hybrid working arrangements, working with their existing team and the broader company network.

    You will have technical and complex claims handling experience ideally gained from the London market arena. Applicants from an Energy, Power or Property claims background will be considered.

    Duties and Responsibilities Regular liaison with claims colleagues, market experts, our broking teams and carriers in order to provide a first-class level of service to our clients.

    As a Claims Advocate some of your key daily responsibilities will include:

    Advising and guiding your clients on policy coverageLeading the claims negotiation process through active Advocacy with clients, insurers, experts and loss adjustersLeading the claims relationship with major clients, including regular meetings and the delivery of claims reportsClaims data analysis and reporting to identify areas and trends of concernAligning with all regulatory requirements and business proceduresMaintaining a robust claims diary with regular reviewsBeing actively involved in new business opportunities, including the preparation of tenders and participating in new business pitches when required.
