Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a
Clerk to Governing Board & SEND Administrator on a part-time basis and during term time only, based in
Milton Keynes for a "good" rated Ofsted school.

Permanent, Part-time and term time + 10 days

Hours: 32.5 hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

_The role _
As the
Clerk to Governing Board & SEND Administrator, your role will involve the following important duties:

Provide effective and professional administrative support to the Governing Board, its committees and the SEN department.
Advise the Governing Board on governance legislation and procedural matters & ensure that statutory policies are in place.
Work with the chair and headteacher to prepare agendas for Governing Board meetings and committee meetings.
Minute taking and following up on action points.
Advise in advance of the expiry of the governor's term of office.
Advise the board of vacancies & organise interviews/meetings where necessary relating to headteacher appointment.
EHCP annual reviews and other statutory meetings.
Take referrals from teachers, collating evidence for SENDCo to consider.
Diagnostic screening

_The experience required _
As a successful
Clerk to Governing Board & SEND Administrator , you will have the following:

Experience within a similar role previously.
Excellent administration, organisational and communication skills.
Experience of taking minutes and working within a School environment.
ICT competency qualifications/experience.
Willing to undergo enhanced DBS check.
Organised and a team player.
Good standard of English and Maths skills.
