POST Recruitment are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our client, a global market-leader that supplies high quality products into the hotel, restaurant, and catering industry.


The role is initially offered as a 12 month fixed term maternity contract with potential for the role to become permanent.

As a Marketing Executive, you'll contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote the product ranges and brands.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with target sectors/audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • Help with marketing plans, advertising, sponsored events, direct marketing and campaigns
  • Support the Head of Marketing in delivering agreed activities and strategy
  • Review advertising opportunities and place adverts in chosen media
  • Work closely with inhouse or external creatives to design/amend marketing materials such as brochures, trade stands and adverts
  • Write and proofread copy for both online and print
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
  • Run social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn) to grow followers and enhance audience engagement
  • Help organise events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Review and secure sponsorship opportunities
  • Create/update/write monthly staff newsletter 'The Inside Scoop'
  • Liaise with suppliers e.g. designers, photographers, merchandisers and printers
  • Organise photo shoots at the request of the Head of Marketing
  • Arrange distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintain and update customer databases
  • Maintain marketing plan folders for all content and imagery
  • Conduct market research, e.g. using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
  • Tracking performance and ROI, preparing weekly updates, monthly/quarterly figures for management reports

Experience Required:


  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent industry creative understanding/experience
  • Experience in a marketing related role
  • Assisting in developing and implementing marketing strategy
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
  • Leading external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities
  • Oversee and manage a marketing budget.
