This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern between 8am-7pm

Role Purpose:


Registered Nurse to join team of staff in nursing department and be accountable for ensuring that you provide the highest standard of care.


Core Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:


  • To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors. Assess, plan, implement and evaluateindividualised patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Key Performance Indicators:


  • Manage individual patient care to an optimum during span of duty and ensure safe and effective handover of care to another healthcare professional, following the standard format for patient handover of care for senior nursing colleagues and peers
  • Feedback from service users patients, Senior nursing colleagues and peers
  • Ability to meet objectives of appraisals
  • Satisfactory audit and clinical practice and documentation

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:


  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or


  • Registered Nurse Level

  • Relevant Competencies for the role.
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
  • Uptodate knowledge in area of practice.
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
  • Studies Registered general l nurse level
  • Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
