    Description

    Accountant

    Our client are a privately owned luxury Italian lifestyle brand with over 60 boutiques worldwide including their Mayfair showroom and small office underneath. We are actively seeking a Stand Alone Accountant to join them ASAP on a permanent basis to look after their Accounts and help make the move in house. The role is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

    Main responsibilities:

    Liaising with the different departments of the head office in order to make all the operations of the store work efficiently (e.g., for orders, IT solutions, company policy, prices, etc...).

    Registering and coordinating all the purchases/sales with the head office and with the other stores, ensuring a timely delivery of a good service to the clients and correct invoicing.

    Registering invoices, sales and expense claims and making sure all documents are archived properly.

    Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards.

    Managing petty cash and cash sales.

    Organizing shipments from/to Europe and the rest of the world and all related documentation, including CITES.

    Entering payments online for Directors' approval.

    Liaising with external accountants and auditors.

    Creating staff "ROTA" and keeping track of annual leave requests and days off in lieu.

    Knowledge, skills & qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant qualification
    • Excellent skills with Excel, including Pivot tables, V look up, Sumif and SAGE 50 is a non negotiable skill
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
    • Ability to collaborate with the General Manager
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Fluent in English and Italian
    • Excellent MS-Office skills
