Job Purpose
As a Trainer Coach your role is to deliver high quality teaching, assessment, coaching and mentoring.

Our vision is for learners to take charge of their learning and be supported to create a life-long learning plan that will meet their personal and professional objectives and the role of the Trainer Coach is central to this being realised.

Starting with the end in mind you will endeavour to enhance and improve skills, knowledge and practice that will enable learners to achieve their qualifications, meet gateway requirements and successfully complete end point assessment.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manage, monitor and administer all eLearning systems, providing an audit trail unique to each learner, capturing contact, progression, and support provided.
  • Effectively manage a caseload of up to 50 learners over level 2 and
  • Provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) to learners and learner line managers.
  • Support and embed English and maths development within the learning process, promoting and encouraging use of eLearning resources. Support learners to achieve Level 2 Functional Skills.
  • Facilitate and deliver learning via workshops and webinars.
  • Develop, plan and implement curriculum delivery models, SOW and resources with Head of Sector and follow company best practice.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
  • Standardise practice according to quality benchmarks and meet performance targets agreed with line manager via the Team Around Learner process
  • Practice using a wide range of training and assessment methods with individuals and groups of learners to ensure we meet individual and client employer needs and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including internal staff, learners, learner line managers and client lead contacts where required.
  • Undertake and record regular CPD activities as per your personal development plan.
  • Ensure progression with each visit to motivate your learners
  • Ensure learners understand, take responsibility for and record their offthejob training within their learning journal as per the delivery model.
  • Where already qualified, complete IQA sampling of delegated learners in line with the IQA cycle and expectations.

Person Specification
We want to see a team of Trainer Coaches who enjoy seeing learners overcome barriers and achieve goals.

It's important to us that Trainer Coaches work collaboratively, sharing IAG and taking personal responsibility for the curriculum, their learners' success and well-being and client relationship management.

We want to support you to deliver absolute excellence.

We don't expect you to have all the answers, but we do expect you to give things a go, discover new ways of delivering curriculum and sharing your successes and failures with the rest of the team.

We're looking for an individual that is driven and can use their own initiative to create something engaging.


Essential Requirements:


  • The applicant should hold the assessor qualifications (CAVA or equivalent)
  • Hold GSCEs A*C grade or equivalent (e.g. Level 2 English and Maths Functional Skills)
  • A good understanding of holistic planning and assessment is necessary
  • Professional occupational experience within FM or logistics
  • Must hold a full clean driving license and willing to travel nationally when required
  • Understanding of mentoring and coaching best practice

Desirable:


  • Hold a Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate readiness to achieve IQA qualification and deliver IQA sampling where required in line with the business expectation
  • Experience of Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Membership to occupationally relevant organisations
  • Level 4 IWFM qualified

£26,076.98-£51,217.85 per year
