Global Custody Operations has approximately 2,200 staff in 50 plus countries and is going through an exciting transformation with both operation and business strategy. The group is comprised of Asset Servicing, Transaction Management, Tax, FX, Risk & Control and Operational Readiness.

Job Purpose

:


The role is within the Custody Operations Group for Security Services Operations, within the Asset Servicing function. Asset Servicing is represented globally across the NAM, LATAM, EMEA and APAC regions with approx. 630 FTE across 39 countries. The group is an integral part of the ICG Operations division and has responsibility for the processing of Corporate Actions, Income, Event Capture and Proxy events. It is one of the highest risk areas within operations.

This exciting role is within the EMEA Asset Servicing Processing Support Team for EMEA clients. The team will be responsible for responding to and resolving any query actions received from client service. Ensuring a globally consistent framework is in place to identify root cause themes and execute remediation with simplified metric reporting will be key.

A Strong commercial and client awareness is a necessity with excellent communication skills.

Organizational Oversight

:

Respond to all Asset Servicing query activity from the Custody Client Service or direct custody account managers for all EMEA clients within appropriate benchmarks

:

Take timely action on any processing adjustments required as a result of the service request

Support any Follow The Sun activity as defined by the Global strategy

:

Track root cause themes and identify remediation. Partner with Regional Function heads to execute remediation with continued monitoring post implementation

Raise Operational Risk Event's as required

:

Monitor client satisfaction and service levels to ensure best in class service

:

-
Partner with regional peers to achieve global consistency within the process support function.

Simplify, improve and measure processes by delivering enhancements to the control environment, and the client experience with input to design techniques and digital automation

Driving and supporting the delivery of strategic platform re-engineering initiatives, reducing manual touch points

Driving the implementation of initiatives to continuously improve Straight Through Processing (STP) rates and productivity, including the use of robotics, workflow and other innovative re-engineering techniques

Qualifications and Skills

:

-
4-7 years of Asset Servicing experience

:

-
Experience of executing and delivering an exceptional client experience

Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add product impact to both strategic and tactical approaches

Ability to exhibit strong and influential communication skills with a senior level audience (internally/externally)
