    Payroll Manager

    We are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee one member of our Payroll team and provide payroll bureau services to various businesses within our group.

    This role involves leading a team responsible for processing payments on a four-weekly and monthly basis, working closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

    Lead the team to ensure all four-weekly and monthly payrolls are completed efficiently and accurately.
    Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to streamline payroll processes.
    Address reconciliation issues and manage submissions and payments to external providers.
    Oversee banking transactions and approvals.
    Provide training, coaching, and performance management to team members.
    GCSE Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
    Proven experience in a payroll position.
    Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and database management.
    Goal-focused with effective planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
