    We pride ourselves on enabling client success through a relentless focus on innovation, quality, and service. Our finance team works remotely with weekly in-person meetings at our headquarters in Alton, Hampshire.
    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to cover maternity leave for a current employee. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team during this period.

    Credit control management.

    ~ Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Updating cash reports, aged debtors, and bi-weekly commentaries.

    ~ Responsible for all revenue analysis.

    ~ Assisting in month-end accounts. This includes preparing accrued and deferred income, reconciliation of invoices, reviewing the allocation of revenue and receipts. Assist with audit requests.

    ~ Business partnering with selected business units, preparation of variance analysis and commentaries.

    ~ Provide cover for other members of the Finance team as required.

    ~ Handle purchase ledger duties, including invoice processing, payments, and supplier reconciliations.

    ~ Documenting all finance processes and working on process improvements.

    ~ Prepare all entities' payroll reconciliation and overseeing payroll providers.

    Applicants must be in the process of attaining an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA or already have completed AAT qualification with knowledge of VAT and revenue.

    ~ Prior experience in stock accounting would be an advantage.

    ~ A can-do attitude, not afraid to get their hands dirty to help the team and find solutions.

    ~ Intermediate skill in all Microsoft Applications especially Excel.

    ~ Comfortable with analysing big data.

    ~ Knowledge and basic user of Power BI and Power Query.

    ~ Attention to detail, accuracy and quality.

    ~ Competitive salary (up to £40k, depending on experience and qualification)
