Tradewind recruitment are working in partnership with a special school located in the London brough of Brent to recruit a PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties) teaching assistant.

The special school is a primary age group from EYFS to KS2 and is a provision for children with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties; many of the children also have profiles within the autistic spectrum.

Classes are organised by age, need and learning style basis.

Be a reflective and responsive teaching assistant who is committed to working with children, their families and the community
Be able to work in partnership with professionals from education, health and care to ensure high quality provision for these children
Be committed to supporting areas of the curriculum development and school approaches, undertaking training as appropriate
Be confident in the support of young children's welfare at all times, with medical intervention required
