Successful business situated in Great Yarmouth is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on and key role within finance supporting senior management to continue the growth of the organisation.

You will be a key member of the UK Finance Teamto ensure that reporting, forecasting and invoicing objectives are met in a timely fashion.


Main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide financial information to operational areas and increase financial understanding of operational managers and their support teams
  • Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts
  • Produce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the business area
  • Preparation of financial analysis compared to budget/forecast for Logistics P&Ls
  • Customer profitability analysis
  • Introduce and amend processes to improve system benefits, reporting, working capital management and deliver financial KPI targets
  • Understand current processes to identify and support Business Managers to drive process efficiency and improvements
  • Work with operational teams to deliver business and financial improvements
You will be a part or fully qualified accountant with considerable management accounts experience. Excellent customer relationship management with the ability to influence and negotiate. Strong interpersonal skills with a professional approach to the leadershipand management of people. Strong Excel skills and experience of ERP systems desirable.
