Successful business situated in Great Yarmouth is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on and key role within finance supporting senior management to continue the growth of the organisation.You will be a key member of the UK Finance Teamto ensure that reporting, forecasting and invoicing objectives are met in a timely fashion.
Main responsibilities are as follows:
- Provide financial information to operational areas and increase financial understanding of operational managers and their support teams
- Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts
- Produce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the business area
- Preparation of financial analysis compared to budget/forecast for Logistics P&Ls
- Customer profitability analysis
- Introduce and amend processes to improve system benefits, reporting, working capital management and deliver financial KPI targets
- Understand current processes to identify and support Business Managers to drive process efficiency and improvements
- Work with operational teams to deliver business and financial improvements
