- In this role you'll be the initial contact between the service and user, liaising between internal and external services to help individuals overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.
- You will make contact and be available to clients in community settings, building effective and meaningful relationships through mutual trust, respect and understanding.
- On a daily basis you will work alongside service users to create experiences which enable them to make informed choices and take more control over their future employment.
- You will be required to maintain engagement with the service user through their action plan, supporting them where necessary to access identified opportunities within and beyond the service.
- The responsibility will be yours to maintain accurate records of your work to support users' progress through the service and to report against key performance indicators.
- We require you to have a Level 3 professional qualification in relevant field and five GCSEs at level C/4 or above including Maths and English
- You must have experience of working within a similar environment helping people to overcome barriers to employment.
- It is essential you have knowledge and awareness of employment sector, local business communities, local skills, learning provision and other support agencies.
- You will have the ability to build effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will understand the challenges and barriers people face accessing the workplace and have the knowledge to connect with and engage service users effectively. Please note that due to the nature of this role it is a requirement of employment that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is obtained for this post.
