About the Area Operations Manager Role
As an Area Operations Manager, you will manage and develop a range of community and day support services in North Surrey.
You will build on existing trusted relationships with local communities to ensure we are delivering support that is innovative and brings about meaningful outcomes in four key areas:
friends, relationships and community; health andwellbeing; independent living and life skills; employment, volunteering and learning.
Leading a team of managers, you will coach and develop your team to ensure person centred support is in place for individuals and evidenced in support plans.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, and together you will learn and develop creative solutions.
You will play a key role in making sure that the people we support and their loved ones are fully involved as expert partners in their care.
About You
You will be an aspiring, innovative leader and have well-developed organisational skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively and engage with individuals, Families/Carers and external partners
- Experience of care, social or community development and outreach services
- Effective decisionmaking skills
- Ability to successfully manage and develop a productive team
- A rounded troubleshooter with the ability to spot problems/trends and implement improvement strategies through to completion
- Good understanding of the Care Act and other relevant legislation an advantage
- Understanding of technology to support our aims
- An excellent team worker
