Role summary

The Commercial Executive will form an integral part of the team to support new business development and growth through new client acquisition.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to diversify our client-base and generate new revenue alongside the Marketing Director and Managing Director.

This role reports into the Managing Director (MD).


You will:


  • Be focused on lead generation and developing new relationships and sales for the business.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director and MD on developing and delivering the commercial strategy to scale the business.
  • Be able to clearly articulate the value proposition of solutions and products to your customers.
  • Make introductory calls to new leads and convert those into meetings for the MD.
  • Attend meetings individually and with the MD to drive potential clients further along the sales funnel.
  • Manage the new business development tools to ensure optimisation of all possible opportunities to drive pipeline.
  • Create masterful client presentations and running effective meetings.
  • Produce the monthly sales report to analyse performance and optimise future sales.
  • Research and explore different events, conferences or opportunities to network and connect with potential clients and partners.
  • Support the Live and Digital Experience teams with idea generation and new concept creation.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the business and industry.
  • Meet quarterly revenue targets.

You will have most or all of the following:

  • A passion for sales.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and desire to be proactive and selfdriven.
  • At least two years experience in a sales role with good track record of developing relationships, creating new business opportunities, and driving revenue.
  • Good decisionmaking skills with the ability to think laterally and problemsolve.
  • Excellent communication skills to be deployed with team members, sponsors, clients, and wider stakeholders.
  • Experience and an understanding of building relationships with senior and Csuite executives.
  • The ability to multitask and work efficiently on concurrent projects.
  • Experience of using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ability to learn new sales tools.
  • Excellent client service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Attention to detail in all communications.
  • The capacity to build an open, honest, and trusting relationship with other team members.
  • A willingness to travel and the ability to work with different cultures in foreign environments.
  • IT literacy (Word, Excel, PPT) and the ability to use design software tools.
  • The right to work in the UK.
