- 73552An SME business based in Filey is currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their Finance Team. Alongside a salary of up to £27,000 (pro rata), on offer is 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), flexible, fulltime or parttime hours, alongside other benefits.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator will include:
- Assisting with the processing of supplier invoices
- Matching invoices to purchase orders on the system
- Dealing with supplier queries and liaising with purchasing teams
- Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger control
- Collating & reconciling monthly expenses for contractors and employees
- Monthly credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with debt management, e.g. chasing invoices due for payment and managing any invoice queries.
- Other adhoc duties throughout the wider finance team
- Previous experience within a similar Accounts based role
- AAT knowledge and qualification would be desirable, but is not essential
- Strong attention to detail and administration skills
- Ability to work as part of a small team, with strong work ethic and good communication skills
- Fully computer literate with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Previous knowledge of Sage, Xero or Quickbooks would be beneficial, as well as being computer literate
This role would be an excellent position for an Accounts Administrator, Finance Admin, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Finance Officer looking for a new opportunity, as well as a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable Clerk.
