- Completes comprehensive patient assessments.
- Consults with physician when patient needs outside of Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, diagnosis or treatment plan is unclear.
- Participates in health care team.
- Promotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff.
- Acts as resource to members of the team.
- Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- New graduates may be considered. Minimum 2 years experience in cardiology preferred.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - ANCC or AANP certification within specialty required upon hire.
- Active non-restricted MN Certified Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Registered Nurse license required upon hire.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
