- Design and implement efficient database solutions including Data Lake and Data Warehousing
- Ensure database procedures comply with data regulations
- Create conceptual and logical data models
- Provide guidance to project teams throughout the data production life cycle
- Design systems based on data architecture principles
- Design solutions that meet business needs and transition from current to future state
- Understand and document the existing data landscape and manage associated risks
- Deliver high-quality outputs consistently
- Set technical direction for data solutions in collaboration with engineering teams
- Ensure delivery of data solutions meets technical standards
- Align stakeholders and technology teams with the architectural vision
- Guide technology teams and stakeholders in evaluating solution options
- Hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies, preferably Azure
- Proficiency in DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, and other Azure services
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Data Modeling
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with structured and unstructured datasets
- Capability to design various architectural solutions
- Expertise in data models and ETL processes
- Understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures
- Experience in consumer-focused industries is a plus
