    Job Description: Lead Business Analyst (Banking Domain Experience)

    Location: London, UK 2 days to office

    SC Cleared: Required

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Business Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in banking and finance, along with a strong background in UI, data flows, cloud architecture, and data modernization/transformation programs. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating COTS products and leading data modernization/transformation programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Domain Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the banking and financial industry, including regulations, processes, and technologies.
    • UI Development: Collaborate with designers and developers to create user-friendly interfaces that meet business requirements and enhance overall user experience.
    • Data Flows: Analyze and map data flows within the organization, identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize data flow efficiency.
    • Cloud Architecture: Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Data Modernization/Transformation Programs: Lead data modernization/transformation programs, including evaluating current data systems, identifying gaps or areas for improvement, and developing strategies for migration or transformation.
    • COTS Product Evaluation: Evaluate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, including data integration tools, software solutions, and analytics platforms, to determine their suitability for the organization's needs.
    • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present reports, architecture diagrams, and documentation to communicate solution designs, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders and management.
    • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of business analysts and architects, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a business architect, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects in the banking and financial industry
    • Strong domain expertise in banking and finance, including knowledge of regulations, processes, and technologies
    • Extensive experience in UI development, data flows analysis, cloud architecture, and data modernization/transformation programs
    • Familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and the ability to evaluate their suitability for the organization's needs
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines
