Holiferm is facilitating the transition of the $42 billion surfactant market away from harmful, fossil fuel-based chemicals to biobased alternatives


We produce sophorolipid biosurfactants:
renewable, biodegradable and mild alternatives to the petrochemical-derived surfactants used in household cleaning, laundry and personal care products.

Key responsibilities:


  • Create and manage project design and build team.
  • Effectively and safely manage projects using company ISO9001 processes monitoring progress against plans to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project standards in line with regulatory and business requirements including developing the use of tools such as MS project.
  • Responsible person for managing the CDM process for build including contractor management.
  • Identification of project requirements and management of critical path workflows
  • Ensure compliance with commissioning and handover process to the operations team.
  • Contribute to the longerterm business planning as part of a multifunctional team, responsible for large project input including capex planning for delivering business goals.
  • Develop close working relations with the commercial team as the single point of contact for projects and enquiries, additionally engage with clients as part of the company's commercial strategies.
  • Provide project processes & and leadership for all company locations and staff.
  • Lead and/or contribute to the generation of proposals in line with commercial requirements.

What you can expect to do:

  • Daily and weekly prioritisation and management of projects & and enquiries in-line with the program of projects effectively utilising resources to satisfy company requirements, coordination across projects, resolving project issues and managing risks in line with agreed priorities.
  • Support procurement of best value equipment
  • Provide oversight of contractor management
  • Manage reporting progress for project KPIs inc. budget, time, schedule adherence, quality, and safety, encouraging a spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Use & develop the company 'project management toolkit' and where appropriate develop work instructions and templates in line with the ISO9001 quality management system.
  • Manage processes which support the development of risk assessments, method statements and documentation associated with PTW and the company's safety processes.
  • Manage expenditure in line with departmental budgets, and targets. This must include monitoring project cashflow & where possible balancing commercial terms with third parties.
  • Develop a longterm capex plan.

As Project Manager you will have:

  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • Experience in implementing large, complex projects in brownfield sites.
  • Good allround appreciation of the various engineering disciplines, Process, mechanical, E&I and electrical
  • The ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people managing skills.

Pay:
£55,000.00-£67,000.00 per year
