    Position: Zuora Subscription Management Technical Architect

    Location: London | Cambridge

    Employment type: Full-time regular

    We are looking for a Zuora Subscription Management Technical Architect.

    The Zuora Subscription Management technical architect's role is to take a hands-on approach during the execution of IT projects. They are a specialist in Zuora technologies and define best practices. Their main task is to realise technical implementation processes as this requires high level of in-depth expertise.

    Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement Zuora subscription management solutions that align with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine requirements for the subscription lifecycle.
  • Design and oversee the integration of Zuora with other business systems, ensuring seamless order lifecycle management.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for subscription management, invoicing and billing processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Stay current with Zuora updates and industry trends to recommend improvements to business processes.
  • Skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments but specifically around Salesforce technologies.
  • Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
  • Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on Zuora Subscription Management and Order Lifecycle Management.
  • Strong understanding of subscription management concepts, finance, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Expertise in the Zuora platform, including billing, invoicing, payments, and finance modules.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and their integration with Zuora.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and their integration with Zuora
  • Zuora certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with RESTful API integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members.
  • Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
