Description

As a key member of the operations function, this role has responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of team members and ensures that the products are being manufactured safely and to the required quality standards.


As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the production area and equipment are maintained to the correct standards for the safe manufacture of production and is responsible for the deployment of resources to achieve the production plan.

As Shift Manager you must be able to clearly communicate the priorities and targets to team members, lead team meetings and monitor performance.

Deviations from the target will be identified using short interval control, KPI's and continuous improvement techniques,as Shift Manager you will lead the identification of root cause using basic problem-solving techniques, identify and implement corrective actions to get back on track or create action plans.

You must lead by example in embracing the two principles, which areto offer only the finest products and continuously challenge the status quo.


Package:
£35,000 - £37,500 +
Annual Discretionary Bonus: 5%

Week 1:

  • Monday to Thursday:
  • 06:00 14:00
  • Friday:
06:00 - 13:00


  • Week 2:
  • Monday to Thursday:
  • 13:5 22:00
  • Friday:
12:5- 19:35

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:


  • Skilled user of systems required by the role, D365, CMMS, SMS, Shop floor data capture, 1 Auditor.
Microsoft office tools

  • Proficient level of verbal and written communication as well as numerical skills
  • COSHH & HACCP Level 2, IOSHH managing safely
  • COVID Awareness
  • Trained in internal auditing

  • High-Performance Coaching
  • Safety behavioral conversations and observations
  • Competent in the use of recognised Continuous Improvements tools and techniques Yellow Belt lean six sigma
  • People leadership/management experience
  • Professional management qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in carrying out investigations for behavioral and conduct matters
