    Aboutthe RAF Central Fund:

    We support the RAF through our grants, programmes,partnerships and properties to ensure personnel can access sports andphysical activities at all levels.

    We deliver integral support to militarypersonnel, RAF Stations and RAF Sport Associations – ultimately, wethink everyone regardless of their role, rank, physical ability orcompeting level should have access to sports facilities, equipment andtraining.


    About the role:
    We are looking for a creative, organised andconstructive coordinator to support the Fund's Marketing and Grantsdepartments.

    The Marketing and Grants Coordinator will help raise thecharity's profile and its brands to best support the Fund'sbeneficiaries alongside administering and coordinating the running of theFund's grant programmes to ensure the efficient and transparentdistribution of its charitable funding.

    The selected candidate will enjoy ahybrid working environment, based at home with occasional visits to theFund's office near Marlow, Buckinghamshire and RAF stations.


    Keyresponsibilities :
    Support the Marketing & Communications Manager todevelop and manage the website, publications, communications and socialmedia for RAF Sport. Liaise with beneficiaries to gather content to helppromote the charity's activities. Attend and present at briefings to helpraise the charity's profile and beneficiary awareness. Provide the RAFSports Associations with support and materials to promote their sport.
    Provide prospective grant applicants with guidance, bid development andbusiness planning advice. Work with external specialist resources asrequired to review new marketing and grant opportunities.

    Assist in thedevelopment and maintenance of systems to allow the charity to assess theimpact and effectiveness of the charity's marketing and grants.

    Collateand present applications at internal and external grant committee meetings,ensuring that recommendations to the Grants Committee and Trustees are inline with policies and objectives.

    Collate accurate data for marketing andgrants reporting.

    Act as a point of contact for fundraising opportunitiesand help communicate the Marketing and Grants departments' activities todevelop and maximise delivery to beneficiaries.

    Other duties as may bereasonably required.

    This role profile is not exhaustive and is subject toreview in conjunction with the post holder according to future developmentsin the charity.
