Casual care assistants are required at the above home on a casual basis


Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia, Leaning Disability and joint working with NHS to provide services to the community.

Casual Care staff are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets Fundamental Standards of health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles

Casual Care Staff are also expected to contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible regarding all customer needs

Applicants ideally need experience in a social care setting. And have Level 1 or Direct Care NVQ or equivalent though training is available in
- house and through the councils' own programmes.

Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37hrs for leave and sickness
