Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Scarborough, North Yorkshire

We are working with a small animal practice in Scarborough, North Yorkshire who are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts between 8am and 6pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties. They are happy to take on new graduate vets.

• Hours: Full time, 4 days per week, shifts between 8am and 6pm

• Team: 2 vets, 4 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team

The role

• The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations and surgeries
• Your duties will involve consultations, surgeries, diagnostics and inpatient care
• The practice are ideally looking for two vets to join their team to expand their team to 4 vets

About you

• They are looking for a vet who has a good level of experience in medicine and surgery

• You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner

Package

• Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance of £1,000 with 40 hours to attend
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
