    We currently have an opportunity for a Lead Test Automation Analyst to join our team at SNAP in Norwich working Monday to Friday 35hrs per week

    The role of Lead Test Automation Analyst will coach, manage and lead the Test Automation Analysts across all Products to enable the agility of the development process by reducing the manual overhead of regression testing on software products. This is vital in the early identification of breaking changes or bugs introduced in code. The earlier these are found, the cheaper they are to fix in the delivery process.

    Job responsibilities will include:

    • Creating best practice approaches to testing of software across all products
    • Maintaining quality standards across all products
    • Creating automated test scripts based on acceptance criteria created in the requirements gathering and elicitation process
    • Ensuring test scripts are updated to maintain or increase the regression test coverage of the assigned squad.
    • Creating strategies for testing new functionality as part of the sprint process
    • Documenting new test cases
    • Manually testing new functionality
    • Recording test results and reporting bugs found
    • Identifying root causes of bugs and work with Product Lead and Senior Developer to improve process, practice of knowledge sharing
    • Share knowledge and experience with other Test Automation Analysts
    • Ensure a consistency of approach across all squads relating to testing
    • Communicating release content to users (internal)
    • Communicate release process and progress to users (internal)
    • Creating 'how to' videos in using new products and services for internal and external customers.

    Other skills and experience required:

    • Has quantifiable experience gained in an equivalent role, with experience in the logistics industry being advantageous.
    • Thorough knowledge of the products to engage confidently in success criteria pertaining to the business product and services.
    • Is a strong communicator, comfortable in presenting complex ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences.
    • Ability to make complex ideas and concepts relatable to stakeholders.
    • Has a full, clean driving license in the designated country with the willingness to undertake extensive country-wide travel and overnight stays where required for the proper performance of the role to be carried out.
    • A degree in a technology discipline or the equivalent would be advantageous but is not critical.
    • Has relevant experience preparing, documenting and executing test cases relating to existing and new functionality
    • Has a demonstrable passion for safeguarding the business with regard to the delivery of new products and services to the live environment
    • Empathetic and team focused, puts the welfare of others ahead of outcome and personal ambition.
    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, SharePoint and other relevant electronic digital portal proficiency.
    • Advanced communication (written and oral) techniques used across various forums.
