Salary :
Unqualified: £38,874 rising to £40,920 / CIPS qualified: £43,025 rising to £45,289

The post-holder will be the lead officer for developing, embedding, and monitoring effective and efficient procurement across the business.

The procurement function provides advice, guidance and support to contract managers across them on areas such as procurementregulations, Value for Money, new product/supplier sourcing, procurement strategies and contract management.

You will also have responsibility for managing, training and motivating a team of 2 Procurement Officers.

They have adopted a Category Management approach to procurement and them currently uses In-Tend as their e-tendering and e-contract management system.

They have a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and they are currently in the middle of looking at a more agile and flexible way of working, as they realise that work/life balance has never been so important.
