- Working knowledge and expertise in network concepts and protocols
- Ideally familiar with MS Service Center Support tool, Cisco SD-WAN, vManage, Live NX, and Elastic monitoring tools
- Thorough understanding of network technologies related to the Cisco product set (preferable)
- Experience in patching and maintaining Windows and Linux platforms
- Preferably worked in a support capacity in WAN environments, demonstrating knowledge of IP, Routing, and SD-WAN solutions
- Awareness and a proven track record in security monitoring, cyber security controls, and defense measures
- Network Monitoring and Event management via Orchestrator tools
- Proactive monitoring and trending of network-related events
- Generation of WI's, knowledge sharing with peers and team
- Identification and implementation of CSI
- Investigation and Diagnostics analysis of incidents and faults
- Creating workarounds, solutions, and mitigations for identified issues
- Identifying issues needing further analysis and escalating to product manufacture

We have multiple openings within the SDWAN team, based in both Bracknell and Solihull, for 2nd line engineers to join our new shared service team. You will be working on two exciting central government accounts, where both customers will be utilizing our cutting-edge Software Defined WAN solutions. We are seeking engineers who are eager to grasp this new technology and contribute to our future SDWAN offerings in the government and defense sectors.
Your role will primarily entail providing direct technical support for all services within the SST as part of the 2nd Line Team. You will also be involved in the day-to-day operations and responsibilities of the DNS SD-WAN Service. Additionally, you will collaborate with the existing support staff to grasp the products, their utilization across the shared service, and enhance your diagnostic skills and capabilities.

Additionally, there will be customer-facing support calls, remote diagnostic tests, quality compliance, and collaboration with 3rd party support, among other responsibilities.
