The Role

The Directorate of Essential Skills is looking to appoint dynamic, conscientious and enthusiastic lecturers, with a genuine passion for teaching.

We are looking for lecturers who can inspire and stretch our learners to realise their full potential in each and every lesson and transform learner attainment.

Hourly paid contract - variable hours

About you

You should be able to demonstrate:

Experience of teaching English and maths up to GCSE Level
Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes

You will hold a recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Education (DET) or equivalent. You will also hold a Literacy/English qualification at Level 2 and a Numeracy/Maths qualification at Level 2.
